Anti-Wrinkle
Botulinum toxin (commonly known as Botox) is a cosmetic treatment that is injected into specific muscles causing them to be temporarily paralysed/relaxed. It does this by inhibiting the chemical signals between the nerves and the muscles that tend to crease. As a result, it assists in smoothing the appearance of finer lines and wrinkles by preventing them from contracting.
Dynamic muscles such as forehead wrinkles, bunny lines (aka nose lines), smoker’s lines, crows feet, brow lift and frown lines are generally the primary target as they are a result of repetitive facial movements. This treatment is generally used for aesthetic benefits but has now been utilized for medical conditions such as Hyperhidrosis (excessive sweating) and muscle spasms.

Derma Fillers

The most popular dermal filler is comprised of hyaluronic acid, a naturally occurring substance produced by our bodies that is responsible for maintaining moisture and elasticity in the skin. By injecting this into areas of concerns it is able to smooth out contours, add volume and provide firmness and plumpness into these areas. Most common areas include lip and cheek (lip and cheek enhancement)
